Halloween

Horror movies have become somewhat overdone and generic in the last few years, with B-rated casts, unoriginal ideas and not even enough thrills to scare a 5 year old, so why not go back to the classics. Halloween has to be one of the best horror movie series ever made, thanks largely to William Shatner’s creepy face which was the premise for Michael Meyer’s mask. The story is timeless, and even H2O, which was the 20th anniversary Halloween movie, didn’t fail to deliver. For more high tech scares, check out Rob Zombie’s remake. He stays true to the classic we all love but strategically ups the blood content for all the desensitized youth. I recommend them both, and no matter how old I get, the haunting theme and terrifying mask will always get me.
